Felix, in contrast to Shelby, is VERY outgoing and friendly. He usually has to investigate everything! He likes to go outside, even though I would rather have him in because he is declawed, but he sticks pretty much around the house. One of his favorite games is dive bombing me while I'm raking the lawn! He doesn't like to cuddle much unless he's in the mood, but when he does, he is very sweet! He got into a fight last weekend (1999!), either with another cat or with a tree, he came home with a laceration on one of his pads (limping) and a huge cut just above one eye. He looked like Mike Tyson! I ended up taking him to the vet on Monday because he was still limping very badly and they game him a shot of antibiotics, and gave me a bill for $100.00. He is doing much better now, he's still favoring that foot a bit, but he will heal up just fine. Anoter Update: They are best cats ever, they are my best friends. We had a bit of a falling out when I thought I could potty train them, but otherwise life is good! I just have to show you this pic...
ADVICE! I
know many of you that come to this page either have a new kitty or are
looking to get one. I would like you to keep a few things in mind:
Also remember: Animals are not cheap!!! Getting a kitten might not be
expensive, you may get one from a friend, or see a sign that advertises
free kittens, or like in my case, a total stranger may give you one,
but remember the vet bills! Your first visit to the vet could cost up
to $200.00! You have to get your cat spayed or neutered, its first shots,
feline leukemia tests and shots and many other things. Then there follow
up vaccines, flea treatments, food, kitty litter, etc. etc.! If you
cannot afford these things, think twice about taking on a new kitty!
This is Shelby & her kittens As
far as I can tell, they are ALL female!!!
